Financial Support
The Wisconsin Rapids Area LWV appreciates the financial support of people in our local area which added to the financial support from our members in addition to their dues has enabled us to provide forums, programs, speakers and publications to the community over the years.

The League is a nonprofit organization which must have adequate financing to operate and achieve its aims. Local Leagues adopt budgets that include funds to support state, regional and national, as well as local activities. All officers, directors and members of the Local League serve without salary.

Our local league conducts a finance drive every fall asking the community for contributions.

LWVWRA is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS tax code. It is covered under a Group Exemption held by League of Women Voters of Wisconsin Education Network. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
