November 2008

During the Month of November, League members will continue to facilitate the study group on how to promote sustainability in our area and achieve economic, ecological and social goals, which began the week of Oct. 1st and will conclude the week of Nov. 20th. The study circles will meet for approximately 1 hour. Attendance at all sessions is not mandatory and make-up sessions will be available. We hope to generate ideas that communities can take to improve their environmental performance while improving their economic performance at the same time.

November 4, 2008 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM General Election. BE SURE TO VOTE!!!

November 4, 2008 7:00 PM City Council Meeting, City Hall, will be broadcast on local community access TV.

November 10, 2008 7:00 PM School Board Meeting, Board Office 510 Peach Street.

November 11, 2008 6:30 PM League of Women Voters Board Meeting at First Methodist Church, 441 Garfield Street. (League Members who are not on the board are welcome to attend.)

November 12 (Wednesday), 2008 9:30 AM County Board Meeting, Wood County Court House.

November 18, 2008 7:00 PM City Council Meeting, City Hall, will be broadcast on local community access TV.
